In the second part, the student will be provided with a topic on a card. A sheet of paper and a pen are given for noting down the points, after that, the student should speak on the topic for two minutes. In the third and final part, there will be a conversation between the student and the IELTS examiner. This part should ideally be 4-5 minutes.

Tips to Crack the Test:

The major skills the examiner takes into consideration are your fluency, vocabulary, grammar, accuracy and pronunciation. So before attending the test, make sure you are well trained in all these areas. At Casper Academy, the best IELTS training centre in Kochi, the students are guided by experts to be competent in these skills.  Everyone wants to impress your examiner, right? But using long and difficult words to impress should be avoided. The problem with using long words is that either it will be mispronounced or used in the wrong context. This results in a wrong impression. Thus it is wise to use the words you know, in the right context.

Focus on your pronunciation, but make sure you do not get carried away by accents. It is alright as long as you can speak in English in a clear and understandable way. When you are ready to attend the test, be sure that you do not memorise what you are about to say. Let the words flow naturally. By hearting does not give you a good impression. Our IELTS training in Ernakulam is known for providing confidence to the students to attend all four tests. There is nothing wrong in taking pauses to think. We all need some time to think about the perfect answers. But it should not be so obvious. The student can use phrases to fill that thinking time. In our class, we teach you all such small tips that will come in handy. Avoid the usage of words such as “well”, “umm”, “ehh”, etc. because it gives the examiner a bad impression about yourself.

Answering the questions in complete sentence is always good. It shows that you can frame sentences and you are able to develop it. Also, be sure to avoid monotonous language. It bores the listener. Using sound variation and stress make your talk more engaging and gives the impression that you can use the language efficiently.
